Anyone know if 05 will have the REAL Purdue fight song?

It's correct in March Madness? Maybe they just didn't get the rights in time for the football release last year. Hopefully that means it will be in this year's game.

You know your stuff about Purdue, but don't count them out yet. Maybe I am somewhat biased, or very biased, because I am a boilermaker fan, but this years team could easily be confused with that of the team that went to the 2001 Rose Bowl. The only difference between the two teams is that this year the Boilermakers will have more experience on defense than they did in 00-01 (they had 4 or 5 freshman starting), and a guy by the name of Drew Brees. Kyle Orton has all of the tools to step up and make a name for himself. A better time to write them off would be after the season.

But in 2001 the Big Ten was weaker than it is now. Ohio State is better, Michigan is better, Minnesota has the nation's best running back duo in the country other than Auburn, and Iowa is a lot better than it was in 2001. You got away with starting five freshmen on defense because those teams weren't as good as they were in 2001. You won't get away with it this year. Orton is a good quarterback, but it is hard to win games with just a good quarterback. Teams have done it but it is very hard. The players you have may be talented but they lack an important thing in experience. That will hurt Purdue this year.
