378 is the worst number in mathematics.

My playbook creation is all based on cutups of Alabama games I watch on youtube. I'll make a note of the play, form, concept, and any other notes (motions, etc.) and make a list that I use to form it. Problem is, I've counted at least 40 different formations and that's too many.

A hybrid of Alabama's and USC's is the most accurate, IMO. (I'm also using film from 2014's playbook with Cooper's influences in it)

A few general notes I'd make

He uses a lot of presnap motion. I have a ton of plays with green routes in it for the FL and SE to run.

A lot "flex" formations where the slot is on the LOS instead of the X/Z WRs.

Almost no offset RB packages.
This is cool man. You have any other playbooks u have/work on?

I've got current ones for Oklahoma, Houston, Ohio State, UNC, Georgia, and Baylor. I also made a vintage Jimmy Johnson and Butch Davis-era Miami ones.

I'll probably end up making one for Florida State and LSU later. Someone posted every one of Leonard Fournette's carries on youtube, so I'll watch that and chart them the way I would do.

I do take requests but it's dependent on availability of video- I'm not talking highlights, either. Full games.

Sounds nice, could you post them on here?

I don't like sharing trade secrets and there isn't a site that readily shares that info, so I'd have to make them into a excel file and share them that way.

That's how I organize my playbooks.

Has anyone tried North Texas, Stanford, Virginia Tech, UCF, or Louisville for Alabama's playbook?

Well, what one did you want to see? I can do requests but they take time. These are based on real-life plays and concepts, not necessarily what the team in question SHOULD be running- as an FYI.

UNT: I liked this playbook, but the balance of under center:gun wasn't right, and Alabama doesn't run of the Pistol Full House set.

Stanford: Way too many 2-back sets. One pistol form. Not the best one.

Va Tech: If you wanted to reproduce the Lane Kiffin Alabama playbook, this is the skeleton I'd build it off of. UNT is a close second.

UCF: Similar to VT.

Louisville: I really liked this playbook. I'd maybe shave one or two of the 22 personnel sets out and replace them with a few wing sets from the gun (one of their signature run forms this year with Henry) I'd say this one is the most similar to what 2015 Alabama looks like and gets my official blessing as the playbook of choice for the Alabama user who doesn't want to design their own custom playbook.

Would love to see your OSU, Houston and Baylor ones.

And the vintage Jimmy Johnson one if possible. Any of those would cool.
