I'll trade you a cookie for some Illinois rankings...I'm almost afraid because I know they'll be low

"Clemson

ALL: 77
QB: 64"

I would not trust these ratings. Charlies Whitehurst IS a top 10 QB in the game and rated in the 90s.

but it's a unit rating...correct?

Same thing applies to UConn as well.

I agree. Some of these ratings look WAY off. Either they're not legit or there is going to be a lot of work to be done on these rosters.

Re: Info from NCAA Football 2005 Strategy Guide

These are ... odd.

Quote:

BYU Cougars
all - 82
qb - 91
rb - 70
WR - 77
OL - 87
DL - 75
LB - 74
DB - 85
Special teams - 78

Key off - P #38 awar 90 k pwr 96 k acc 95
Key Def -re# 49 spd - 76 strgth 76 awar 84 tackle 80
Underclassman to watch TE #20 spd 74 awar 70 catch 74 runbl 62

The comments at the end seem right - Coats as the Underclassman, and Payne as the offensive threat.

These are overall unit ratings? Or the #1 at each?

Either way, that QB rating seems really off.

Even if the two backup QBs are in wheelchairs, Clemson's QB rating should be higher than that, just off Whitehurst alone.
