Has anyone ever switched a TE to tackle or guard? I'm curious if you can find one strong enough and also how they would progress.

I've never done that but there was a dynasty where I ran option and recruited TEs for WRs just for the blocking

I've done this many times actually. They will progress as a lineman would. Make sure they are a blocking TE with decent size/strength and give them a year to redshirt
