I'm getting a lot of framerate dropping too on the Xbox. I'm also playing with Ohio State. The game is pretty cool, just sucks that there's boughts of stutter on every play.

Hopefully it's a badly manufactured Disc issue like the PS2 gets EVERY year.

Then at least it could get taken care of.

I played the Xbox version at EBX today right before I got my copy and I noticed a major slowdown in the Xbox version. I didn't play very long but I did notice that right from the get go.

I went back and looked at the Vidoe's Steve made and posted online. There wasn't as much slowdown in those videos as I'm seeing when playing the game.

I've got a brand new Green xbox so I know it's not my system crapping out.

I pray it's garbbed up discs.
If it's not, I can live with it. Still sucks. At least the game is fun.

Well, this happened to me last year, and I CANNOT believe i'm hearing this again!!! WHY??????

This totally makes the game unplayable. I'm thinking it might have to do with the actual Xbox DvdRom drive. THey have 3 different ones... thompson, phillips, and samsung. If you guys go to this forum and pick which xbox drive you have and post, we might be able to solve the problem.

Only problem I have is Xbox Live does not work with it yet...

At best, I can get connected to the EA Servers, get the Terms Of service.

The screen that say "Transferring data from Microsoft to EA" ALWAYS timeout.

Nice 1st impression of Live!

Anyone get on with Live ! ?

I think the overall game is slower...but it is consistent for me. XBOX version.

So far I love the speed. There seems to be a bigger difference between slow and fast players.

It's some people over at maddenmania complaining about the overall speed too(not slowdown)One person said they got an early copy(Xbox}buy being apart of some group and then after he played the ps2 version today he said that it played faster on the ps2.

I was on earlier with Live, now I'm getting the error. EA's servers are probably down, they went down all the time it seemed like last year.
