Slowdown solution?

So I picked up the xbox version and jumped in to play PSU at home...the game was 'slower' than last year and when running inside I noticed a 'mud' like feeling...before I fired it up I did disable widescreen on the dashboard. I switched to practice and the inside running was not molassles like....Played at a smaller school (Bethanne Cookman or someone like that)...no slowdown...played in the swamp...mud feeling again....so I read in another post that someone boiled their disk (for DDE errors, dont ask me) and turned of Dolby 5.1...and had no issues. So I just fired it back up, turned my xbox to Stereo with DTS off and am playing Pitt at PSU, and it's smooth as silk.....I'm going on the road next to try it out in the big house

Re: Slowdown solution?

It runs just like in practice mode? If so, you are my best friend.

Re: Slowdown solution?

Yep, I think this is it. (As I followed up on what Jistic did here).

I just couldn't believe how smoothly everything went after that setting was done.

Yeah, those of you that don't have a slowdown, do you just have "stereo" under audio settings on the box?
