In game adjustments

Is there a detailed breakdown of what each in game adjustment on both offense and defense does?

Re: In game adjustments

Besides the in-game pros and cons that show up on the adjustments screen?

Re: In game adjustments

Like a specific boost? IE focusing on not fumbling is +3 to fumble rating but -3 to break tackle?

All I ever do is put receivers on the setting to make the catch. I don't remember what the specific name is (like "focus on catch). If I have a small lead late in the 4th, I turn on ball security.

I never mess with defensive ones.

Thanks for the reply. Those are good ideas. I've been putting defense on tackling vs big hit and I've been using accelerated clock.

Re: In game adjustments

I usually turn the tackling and big hit down to safe. Very rare to force fumbles anyway, would rather guys just wrap up and tackle. Only turn those up when I'm behind and need a big play on defense.

I may need to do this. My guys can't tackle at all...

I've found it doesn't help that much tbh. It could be the sliders we use in my OD though.

Re: In game adjustments

I feel like I've seen worse results when using trying to get my guys to tackle better through "Big Hits" & "Strip Ball" or whatever. The one I do use is the QB Option slider to shut down the option. I put it at aggressive to defer towards the QB as he usually gets the bigger gain. And I slant my DL opposite of the side the tailback is lined up on.

Works way to well. Almost to a fault. Even with all the sliders I've tried, this game still makes it too possible to shut down the run while making it impossible to shut down the pass, even against the worst passing teams.
