Is this normal?
Now I know that teams are going to drop a lot of passes over the course of the season but this seemed a little over the top.
1. Craphonso Thorpe - 16 drops
2. Dominic Robinson - 13 drops
3. Chauncey Stovall - 11 drops
4. Chris Davis - 8 drops
5. Willie Ried - 8 drops
6. Marlon Napier - 2 drops
7. Lorenzo Booker - 1 drop
8. Paul Irons - 1 drop
9. Leon Washington - 1 drop
So my starting WRs combined for 40 drops and the unit as a whole had 61.
Because of these drops my QB finished with a 43% completion percentage. After some calculations, if I had completed all those drops, my percentage would have been 60%. Lets say I only complete half of those drops...that's still 52%.
Now compare that to Hawaii and Northwestern, the two teams who attempted the most passes on the year and you'll see that Hawaii had 11 drops while Northwestern had 16.
I'm not complaining, just making an observation.
