I dont have an issue with HFA. In fact, I love that it gives a better chance for upsets.

Just finished the NC game v. Miami. What a game! I won it 36-29 in Double OT. The drops were almost completely gone. The QB percentage was still kinda low. I am playing on AA with CPU offensive sliders (all of 'em) turned all the way up and Human defensive sliders all the way down. I think the game is quite a bit better without the HFA. Its too bad because I like the HFA but I will sacrifice it for more competitive games.

is the atmosphere a lot different? What's the biggest change in terms of the crowd/atmosphere/etc.? Do you lose the ability to do anything if this is turned off? Thanks.

Yeah, thanks, this helps. I was turning it on and off throughout the game and from what I could tell, it looks like composure still plays a factor (player ratings still fluctuate during the game), so that's cool. Just no screen/controller shaking. But I can live with that vs. all the dropped passes.

Might just turn it on in the last 2 minutes of the game.

WOW! First game with HFA turned off I thru for over 400 yds with 7 TD's against Wisconsin. I had to adjust the sliders so I wasn't nearly so dominate on the passing game. I play All-American with a slider set I had found on OS here. Next game I went into Michigan State and lost a thriller 48-46...Missed the 2 point conversion with 40 seconds left. It did just get a lot better for me.

So all HFA affects is the screen shaking and the controller shaking? I love the composure ratings, and I really don't want to lose those things.

Ok, here are some more specifics on this:

-Even with HFA OFF, you STILL will have players improve/lessen in their ratings throughout the game. This is my most important thing!
-You CAN keep HFA ON, and you will still get the crazy atmosphere... but as long as you have Screen Shake OFF, then you won't get the crazy amount of drops/poor QB %'s.

You're not going to have REALLY high QB %'s for the CPU, but they WILL be at least in the 50-60% range!

Trust me... THIS is the way to go... at least turn off screen shake, for some unknown reason it makes a world of difference...
