BCS Rankings Again

I am Notre Dame in the Big 10 this year, last year I was in ACC....I posted this before last year's title game, and the same thing happened again this year....A 2 loss team jumps me to make into the National Title Game and I get hosed....Had to play in the Rose Bowl. Last year I think I had to play in Orange Bowl....What's with the 2 loss teams continuing to jump me? My only loss was to #9 FSU in Week 1....Texas lost to #13 Oklahoma State and #10 Baylor. Kentucky lost to #15 Tennessee.

I really wish there was a way to edit the BCS formula in the game. Makes me glad I use a playoff system.

The further you get into dynasty, the more everything breaks down. BCS shenanigans like you described. Games of the week featuring teams with losing records whereas 2 ranked teams are only on local tv. The Armed Forces dominating (mostly Navy but Army does really well too). So sad that we couldn’t get just 1 more game before shutting down.

I know we are talking ps3 here, but if a new game was created. Let's just say it was offered for PS3. I would hate to have to buy a PS4 for it. I just got my PS3 at Christmas. I would say EA or whoever did the game needs to focus on all the good things from the past games and toss out some of the crap. I believe NCAA 14 has a good foundation. I like the recruiting. The custom conferences is great. The gameplay for the most part is fine. I hate my receiver catching the ball and taking two or three steps backwards. I noticed that even though I changed Idaho to a different conference, their uniforms said WAC and their field said MW. Get rid of mascot gameplay. Focus on the glitches, fix them. The BCS rankings after so many years, breaks down like you all said. Fix that. I would pay 60-70 bucks for that game.

From what I understand none of them do. I believe it's due to us the users not having access to the online dynasty files. They are instead kept on Esri's servers unlike offline dynasties which are keeping in your PS3 and can be transferred to a flash drive.

I love it, it adds the drama of the real life shenanigans we see.

Until championship week last year (2020) for me, I was #9. I had one loss, to #15 UCLA. Both Army and Navy were ahead of me with two losses, and Alabama was ahead of me with THREE losses. It took a blowout win in the Big 12 championship to leapfrog most of them, I wound up at #4, Alabama was still #5 I think.
