wow, ncaa 2005 is getting tore up

I don't post a bunch, but I read quite a bit. If I had to make a comparison between ncaa 2004 and 2005 regarding the love/hate they recieved on the boards (here and elsewhere):

NCAA 2004 would be your first love, high school/college love that you first fell for deeply

NCAA 2005 would be the fat girl you accidently mistook for Keira Knightly when you got hammered at the club and made out with her right in front of your friends (and they got pics)

Maybe I'm over exagerating, but ncaa 2005 is recieving a sh#tload of hate and very little love----as opposed to last year's love fest. Me, I happen to like my fat girl. I hope EA reads these boards, though, b/c they seem to be driving away their dedicated fan base these days. Kinda scary......

im loving this game even more than last years..... Yes, you need to make adjustments, but once that is done, its a fun game.


Always room for improvement on Ea's part though. keep it up!

I agree with you, I like this game very much. My only complaint is that I don't have the hand coordination to do custom celebrations when I want to.

All the complaints I've read I have no problem with. Sliders are the key. They are a pain in the azz, but they are the key. I'm having a blast with this game, but I also feel the pain of the others. If they stop playing it, and it stops selling, then I have no game to play.

A game in which the CPU QB's can't consistently throw for 50%+ no matter the setting is not fun. 14-38 is not acceptable!

It's some what acceptable. I've learned to play shottier defense, so they actually complete some passes. sometimes it feels like there is a super human db ai for user controlled teams too.

No one should have to intentionally play badly in order to give the CPU a chance. That is a joke. This use to be my favorite game by far, but this year it's just unbearable with the low completion percentages.

I found turning the human defensive awareness all the way down has the computer completing 50-60% of its passes against me most of the time.

I don't think this game is bad, I like it more than last year. The HFA is awesome. My only complaint is the dropped passes. Every game I get all these dropped passes and it frusterates me to no end. But that isn't keep me from enjoying this game more than any other game.
