Recruiting Question

The last NCAA game I played was NCAA 03 so forgive me if this is a stupid question.

In NCAA 03 if you created a prospect, that prospect's ratings would not increase at all. Is this the case in NCAA 14 or will the ratings go up?

I was thinking about buying NCAA 14 but I wanted to find out before I did

They will not change in the recruitment process if that is what you mean. The created prospects will undergo training results like every other player in the rest of their offseasons if that is what you were asking.

Example
I make an 85 overall QB with 90 speed, 70 awareness, 90 throw power, and 80 throw accuracy. Those will be his stats his freshman season, except awareness does increase in season, and other stats can increase based on your coaching tree. Heading into his sophomore season he will go undergo training results and will likely increase to between an 88-92 overall. His junior season between a 91-99 depending on the results. The training is randomly between 3-7 (typically 5) if you just keep the in-game training. Most people have applied their own system for more randomness.

Stats do not change in season or during the recruiting process.

However, awareness can change for players (not recruits) throughout the season.

Coaching upgrades also give players in-game ratings boosts in different categories.
