How do you guys tackle?

I’m working on letting the CPU begin the play and taking over when it’s a good time to. My first movement very often leaves a hole for the RB or opens a zone for a WR. Letting the CPU make the first move and then reacting works better for me. I use x to tackle (or hit stick when I feel it’s a good opportunity to)

Strafe is always a good option. It's much easier to tackle with your shoulders square to the LOS.

Always run downhill. If you're running in a horizontal line, you'll miss the tackle 99% of the time.

I am a pretty darn successful online player and I can’t tackle a damn thing manually. I have to use user assist.

I use the hit stick probably way too much...

Biggest problem for me is if I get in the backfield too fast on a read option. My guy always misses both the QB and RB.

I typically use strafe to tackle. Hit the strafe button, square your guy up, and just let he and the ball carrier run into each other.
