Speed Blitzing... your thoughts?

I think its fine to do a speed rush with the DE as long as you arent moving him out of position. If theres a huge gap between the DT and DE than i consider it cheese. If you have a quick DE that can beat the OL off the line then its fine with me.

Not cheese at all. Just step up your game and learn to adjust. Keep a back in to block and run right at where his DE would be if he was in run coverage.

I find it very hard to believe a DE can speed rush. Myself and other commishes have tested this extensively in 2005 and it's not doable.

I have tried it against the CPU with David Pollack(prob the best DE in the game) and I have not been able to do it. I could do it easy last year even without shifthing the line further than the CPU will do for you when you shift the entire line.
