Great news. The student athletes deserve it.

But I need 2K to hop on this using their APF2k engine.

Its been a long time coming. Its pretty cool that the demand for NCAA Football to return has played such a major role in fueled one of biggest changes in the history of the NCAA.

It warms my heart to see a bunch of current and former EA devs who have worked on the NCAA series liking tweets about today’s news and the game potentially returning. Rex Dickson said it’s highly likely the game will return but to give it a few years!

I think that is a lucrative enough business proposition for them to pursue bringing NCAA back, completely separate from us Dynasty fanatics. I also have to wonder if the NFLPA involvement has anything to do with trying to negotiate these types of deals for former players who could be part of some type of "Ultimate Team".

Either way, I am stoked. I bet we don't see anything until 2021 or 2022, but this is all very promising.

You just described the current ultimate team and nothing they can't do today.

I’m excited but knowing EA it will be filled with UT and dynasty isn’t going to be anywhere near what we had.

As much as I would like that, I just don't that's likely. I don't see 2k wanting to jump into the CFB market. We got to remember that the APF was pretty much an upgraded 2k5 engine. So would have to start from scratch. I don't think 2k would want to create a new engine for a CFB game. They have claimed to want get back to NFL though

Thought I heard imv gaming just hired 3 more people. Not sure if they can get licensing though. I don't think they could last year, hopefully a year changes things. But I think gameplay wise, they have a ways to go. Decent effort for them being a small team.
