GIMP Help
I am trying to recreate this..http://www.mghelmets.com/high%20scho...d-foard-nc.gif

I am trying to simply recolor Missouri's logo. However I can't seem to change the gold to the powder blue I'm looking to use. I have the section outlined and when i use the fill with the color I want, it turns out grey. Any ideas on what I am doing wrong?

i've never used GIMP, but I know with photoshop if you have greyscale checked off instead of RGB color it will do that.

I noticed that some jpg files arent RGB (red green blue) files, they are either bw or monchrome. Ive done the same thing >a bright red fill will be dark blue.
