Popped in NFL HC

Well I got tired of NBA2K9 - its a lot of fun - but can be redundant.

So I needed my sports fix, w/ MLB2K9 around the corner I needed something to hold me over.

I've popped HC back in, and have really enjoyed it.

I've played two games and am 1-1.

My first game, a loss to the Cards, was a blowout.

Wk2 however was an awesome game!

Using Vernon Davis in the slot - after suffering game ending injuries to two WRs - I came back from 21 down to force O/T w/ Seattle and eventually win the game on the leg of Joe Nedney.

JT O'Sullivan passed for 504 yards, and 5 TDs. Frank Gore was injured in the first qtr, and I lost Deshaun Foster for the year in this one too. I only carried the ball a total of 15 times w/ Michael Robinson getting 10 carries - mainly in the 2nd half.

Since I was down by soo much I needed to pass almost every down, and ended up throwin 52 times for 40 completions. I was sacked 7 times, but I completely torched Seattle - it was awesome.

They had no answer for Vernon Davis in the slot over the middle, as he caught 18 passes for 234 yards and 3 TDs.

I think I've found my main weapon...Since I lost Deshaun Foster for the year, and placed him on IR I needed to add another RB.

Much to my dismay and surprise was Deangelo Williams sitting there, cut by the Panthers. I signed him for a cheap 1yr/$1mil...Can you believe that!?!

Is that something you'll continually see in this game?

I'm gonna get plenty of burn out of him though.

I need to win my next 2 games to accomplish a season goal "Win your first 3 of 4"...next up Detroit.

I'm doing 15 min qtrs...I just can't play it any other way. I don't think they take too long...The game has that accelrated clock. Are you someone that doesn't use the playclock to their advantage, and already have your next play picked before the playcalling screen appears?

Is you let the PC wind down some your games will go by faster.

I've actually had it that long too. I started a career w/ the Falcons and Raiders, but quit both of them.

The 49ers however have proved to be fun, and a challenge. Atlanta and Oakland were just a challenge.

Plus there's something inside of me that wants to return the 49ers to greatness. Patrick Willis is a good start.
