07-08 Green Bay Packers/Cheeseheads Thread.

Haven't started the season off with a win in a long time. Offense didn't do much, but that will come. Defense looked sharp. Bigby was all over the field. That kid is a hard hitter and a ballhawk. Barnett and Hawk looked great.

Maybe everyone will take the Pack a bit more serious with holding McNabb for under 200 yds and the special teams just a popping everywhere.

Just think if and when the offense is cranked up.

No doubt. The Pack was on a roll at the end of last season. They lost a few games they should have won,couple of bad breaks here and there and finished out of the playoffs by 1 game. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come. People say the Eagles gave the game away. Guess what? Welcome to our world the last few years. We gave a ton of games away. Let's hope they put a few more win under their belts this year. I would call it a great season if they make playoffs.

Our defense is the key this year. If the defense can play like they did against the Eagles every week it will take alot of pressure off our young guys on offense and will allow Favre to play a little more conservitivly so he doesn't force his throws knowing the defense will most likely get the ball back in his hands pretty quickly.

Spot on! They really were flying around the field on Sunday. I hope they keep it up.

We need a running back. Trade a second and third round pick, I don't care. Get a real running back in Green Bay.

The defense and ST looks solid though. Crosby, although a wasted pick at the time, looks good in his first professional game.

I'm content with Jackson right now. I think it's more of the offensive lineman not making holes, than it is Jackson not finding gaps. I think by week 5 or 6, we'll get things rolling offensively, until then the defense needs to stay solid.

Boy did Favre and the entire offense look good against the Giants today. The defense played a decent game but the offense is definitely the reason we won. If the offense can play like this from here on out and the defense continues to play solid I expect nothing less than a playoff berth this season.
