Getting married tomorrow

Usually don't post in this section, but since OS gave me a B-DAY shout in Jan, I thought I share with you guys that tomorrow I will be marrying my girlfriend of 8 years.

I am soooooooo glad that basically all the planning & running around is over. Hopefully every thing will go smoothly tomorrow. Not sure if I'll be able to sleep tonight, so I'll be checking in off & on....

just a little advice for you...

* all those little things about you, those little antics you did, those habits you had while you guys were dating/engaged that she thought was cute............. well they ain't cute anymore..... trust me.

* start picking one night of the week to sleep on the couch. Do this to find a comfortable position, get yourself used to it, because soon enough, she is going to make you sleep there.

* get to know your local florist. Try and become friends. Maybe they will give you a discount when you need out of the doghouse.

* and one more thing.... enjoy the honeymoon and the first year of marriage. Because after the first year.... sex becomes a myth much like the Loch Ness Monster and Bigfoot.

More advice...

On your wedding day, after the ceremony, while all the partying and everything is going on, grab your new bride, go off to some place private, and sit there for 5 minutes, taking in everything that happened that day, and keep it stored in your brain. Remember how happy you are, how happy she is, and how much you're looking forward to spending the rest of your lives together.

Remember that feeling...keep it stored in your head like I said....because during this first year of marriage, there will come times where you ask yourself why you ever agreed to do this to begin with. That feeling will be the reason.
