Best overall atmosphere?
Just curious, which basketball game (new or old...college or pro) do you think does (or did) the best job of representing the atmosphere of a basketball game. I know college and pro have different atmosphere, but which game did the best job of representing it?
Couple of factors to consider...
-crowd noise
-crowd visuals
-little things going on around the actual on-court action
-player emotions
-bench
-coaches
-tv presentation (the CBS presentation package really sucks me into an NCAA 10 game for some reason)
-announcers
I guess I am asking, which game can really suck you in with its atmosphere?
For me, its a toss up between NCAA 10 and NBA2K10. Whenever I play a CBS game in NCAA, it makes me feel like I am watching a game in March! I love the crowd noise especially. A good game can get pretty intense. NBA 2K10 does such a great job with the crowd visuals (although I've always thought Live's crowd noise was better). The dynamic commentary is very well done as well. Thoughts?
