I just found out about this today and I think I'm going to purchase this. I like the aspect of customization and since it's strength is in coaching, planning, and developing plays, I think I'll enjoy it. Sounds a lot like the original Front Page Sports before they got the NFL license

Just beware that it is made by one guy so the production value isn't there like it is with a big company. It is rough around the edges, but if you like creating plays and customization and can handle dated graphics you will probably like it.

If you do get it be sure to download the latest public beta release from the members download section at matrixgames.com.

Thanks for the advice. I can see that it is rough around the edges but the customization has me sold. Less glitter and more flexibility.

It is completely flexible. Just make sure you go to the forums for the game at matrixgames.com and keep up to date with the latest releases. Even though they are classified as "beta" releases they are much better than the original release you get when you first buy the game.
