I don't know if people have seen this, but there is a site called Sportsims.net where you control a football team from the draft, to training camp and through the season. It's a very good football game as you also set lineups and create gameplans. Football fans will enjoy it:

it's really a fun game. You can try an exhibition season that will essentially let you play from week 2 to week 14. Or if you pay to own a team, you get the full draft prep, trades, season, etc. I'm in the Guardian League with four other owners at the moment.
