This game was made for online play and what better way to offer it than as downloadable content. I can't wait to finally get a chance to play some of you die hard Tecmo fans and see who has the godlike fingers to break all those tackles. My dream has come true!Thanks Tecmo. Don't forget the online leagues, this should be amazing!

Pretty awesome, but I agree with Derrville. The big appeal to TB was the fact that you had monsters (Bo Jackson, LT, Marcus Allen, etc) who would simply dominate the game and that's what made it fun. Maybe they'll try to keep it the same by creating bastardized version of players (Jo Jackson, Torrance Sayler, JaMarcus Allens, etc) but it's hard to strike lightning twice.

On a side note, Marvel vs Capcom 2 is also coming to XBL. I nearly sh*t my pants when I found this out.

If this is the same team that did the DS game I wouldn't get too excited, because the online play was horrible in that game.

The input lag made it pretty much unplayable, and since people were allowed to use the juiced-up super teams from their single player franchise, the talent level on each side of the ball was pretty much never even, so the team with more juice in their attributes won every time in dominating fashion.
