Tecmo Bowl Throwback release is near. What team will you'll be playing with and why?
What fond memories I have of Tecmo Super Bowl. I thought it would be interesting to read your thoughts as to who was your favorite team to play with and why. Just to refresh your memory these are the rosters we'll be playing with in Throwback, 1993 rosters-http://www.jt-sw.com/football/pro/rosters.nsf/By/Season?OpenDocument&Season=1993. My favorite teams were the ones with the scrambling QB's. Philly with Cunningham and the 49'ers with Steve Young. It would drive my uncle nuts when I would fake scrambling with Young and as I lured him in I would throw it to Jerry Rice for a bomb. It was a no win situation because if he didn't commit to the scrambling QB I would run it down his throat for a huge gain, lol.

I also enjoyed playing with the scrub teams such as my lonely Jets because of the challenge they posed. The Bucs sucked royally to. Funny seeing the worse QB's in the league loft the ball in the air. You could eat a sandwich while the slow floating pass would take forever to reach the WR only to be intercepted, lol.

Probably Oak...er...LA Raiders or Tampa Bay - they are the two of my favorite teams that will actually be in the game. No Ravens or Jags, sadly

Yeah, Pitt had one nasty defense. Wow remember Kevin Greene wrestling in WCW at the beginning of it's height, lol.
