TRANSFER NEWS!

Sheffield's top teams move in on young Reading Forwards.

Hey guys, The pre-season is nearing an end and I would like to give you a little update on Reading's transfer's. Radoslav Vasilev has moved on loan to fellow Championship side, Sheffield Utd for the rest of the season. Fellow forward Simon Church has been moved to Sheffield Wednesday on loan where hopefully he will get alot of play time to improve this young striker.

Reading grab Ishmael Miller from West Brom!

Reading have purchased Ishmael Miller on a year long contract from West Bromwich Albion. The striker cost the club £2,530,000 and for such a price is quite a steal in my opinion! I hope he will grow with the club and I am sure if he performs well a renewal contract will be considered at the end of the season.

Thanks for checking in guys! I'm off to Reading's first match of the season against newly promoted Leicester City, Should be a great game. A match report will be given once I return.

Foxes defeated at Walkers Stadium

Reading F.C 4 - 1 Leicester City

What an amazing show by front man Ishmael Miller! He will definitely have impressed the manager and just show's he was definitely worth his price tag, four goals in his debut, that's magnificent! Reading will need him next week as they play Nottingham Forest at the Madejwski. This team will be a tough competitor pushing for the automatic promotion places this season but if Miller keeps up this form he's started with Reading could easily be pushing for the promotion places themselves.

Reading take three point's from Forest encounter

Reading F.C 2 - 0 Nottingham Forest

Three more points in the bag thank's to Rasiak and Long. Miller didn't play today and I checked the website and it said that he had suffered a slight strain but would be capable to play in the next match or two, so no real worries. The Man of the Match was awarded to Rasiak but in my opinion I believe McAnuff was the best player on the pitch and deserved a goal or even two for his work.

After the match I sat down and flick on the telly to SkySport's and it said Brian McDermott is intending to bring in a Coca Cola Championship defender to strengthen our back line. Waste of funds if you ask me as our defence is pretty strong and we definitely don't need any more strikers as we are fine infront of goal but he's the manager not me so we will have to wait and see, hopefully he buy's Kaspars Gorks from QPR or Luke Potter from Barnsley.

Afraid that I just don't have time for this anymore as school has restarted. I will make a new dynasty in the Summer Holiday's.
