7 Homers in 3 innings is wild too.

10 in a game is the record. It's possible they pass that today.

Granted, they will likely only have eight offensive innings to do it instead of nine (or extras).

EDIT: There goes #8 (third by Judge).

I could absolutely see the brewers bringing in position players to pitch later on too. It's gotten way out of hand.

Re: 3/27 - 4/30 Game Discussion Thread

Whoever designed the Rogers Centre's new seating (debuted last year) should be fired.

I still hate how stupid it looks when a ball goes in to either corner of the field, you can't see the fielder at all on the outfield cam because the walls block you from seeing them on camera.

It's like "Fly ball to right field..it might have enough to go over but could hook foul....the fielder is back at the wall and................" THEN we see 3 seconds later the fielder caught the ball when they change to a different camera angle.

Judge off the RF wall. Just missed his fourth home run of the day. I wonder if he'll just be pulled out sooner than later. Maybe one more AB.

I saw that same thing, and my mind immediately went to the response from SDS (SCEA at the time) regarding why they won't do a broadcast gameplay camera that is solely centered behind home plate because of the very obstruction that is the seating down the foul lines of some parks.

I think that's bull**** in that there are game design ways to see through those walls if needed or change the camera in that one very instance, but the Rogers Centre definitely takes that argument to a whole new level.

I don't like the black seats behind home plate for that stadium, either.

I remember in an old baseball game, I think it was Qualcomm stadium, if the ball went to the RF corner, sometimes the camera angle in the game would make it hard to see the fielder and if you tried throwing it to 1B or 2B and you were at a certain angle, the ball would just be thrown off the wall and you'd have to try and find it again. Definitely led to some inside the park home runs.

Wrigley's like that too IRL - balls in flight routinely disappear from camera view when they go into the right field corner. You usually don't even see it until they switch to one of the side view cameras (which they do in real time sometimes).
