The Ohtani walkoff was the most predictable thing ever.

Yep...how you let him beat you is beyond me. One week in and the season is basically over; no team in MLB history has ever started 0-7 and made the playoffs. Sure, there are wild cards now...but this team is terrible. They have fallen off a cliff collectively and it's baffling because they aren't old. Oh well...

I still think they'll get it together and push for a playoff spot. Need to rebound quickly against the Marlins though.

The 0-7 and not making the playoffs is meaningless to me since most of MLB's history only one or two teams from each league made the postseason and now it's six.

Ivan Herrera was the first Cardinals catcher to hit 3 home runs in a single game.

Baseball is weird.

March 31st: Reds win 14-3 vs Rangers
April 1: Reds lose 1-0 vs Rangers
April 2: Reds lose 1-0 vs Rangers
April 3: Reds lose 1-0 vs Brewers

Only 2nd team in last 100 years to lose 3 straight 1-0 games.
