I hope Omar goes out and either gets another lefthanded pitcher in the rotation or additional bullpen help. I know, easier said then done. I hear they're still trying for Urbina from the Tigers and another rumor I'm hearing is Omar exploring his old team the Nationals. I think one name is patterson.

Lil Mac was a fun player, but hasn't really done anything for this team in a few years. The Trash injury definitely does hurt, and I have a feeling (unfortunately) were are going to stick with Ginter or Jay Weong Seo.

Reportedly the Mets gave McEwing the option of staying and working out with the team or being released, he choose to be released. I don't think McEwing will stay a free agent for long, the Astros and Cardinals both contacted the Mets about trading for McEwing and now that he is a free agent other teams may be interested as well.

Uhh, when was McEwing actually good? He was pretty decent in my ASB'03 season so I will at least have a few fond memories of him

I do wish him well, but I think the Mets are better off without him. I think Phillips will get plenty of time behind the plate and at 1st this year...probably will see as much action as Piazza this season. (enter joke here)
