Sorry to see him go. Great hitter. Average fielder.

He was going to be a free agent next season and would have cost the Jays quite a bit to sign him. Good move by J.P.

why did the twins even make this trade. The owner said he dosent wanna raise the payroll, and they raised it 5 million. Plus the twins are pretty much out of the AL central race.

Jays are paying Stewart's contract so it's not adding to the Twins' payroll.
