This is put up or shut up time as a manager for Dusty Baker. His Nationals' club is as good as Cleveland in many ways. Unfortunately, this is a TOUGH matchup. I think there's going to be a ton of scrutiny on Baker's managing in this series and people are tapping their feet like Sonic the Hedgehog hoping that this will be the playoff series where Strasburg makes an impact.

That being said, Cubs in 4.

I think the Nationals have flown under the radar, if possible, because they weren't challenged at all in their division and didn't make a historic run like the Dodgers. They essentially went about their business and won a lot of games, but IMO they might be the best team in the NL.

When you look at their pitching with Scherzer, Strasburg, Gonzalez, and Roark I think it's the best rotation in baseball. Their offense has been amazing all year and Harper just came back.

Yes, the Cubs have been fantastic since July...but, I just don't trust their pitching. I see the Nats winning this one in 4 games.
