Pretty sure they would have to negotiate all that stuff with the Thunder. Like, they could reach an agreement to get back the team name, colors and jerseys and whatnot and still not get the history. Don't quote me on that though, but I don't THINK it really has to be a package deal kinda thing.

I hope they get the history back man... that belongs to Seattle and OKC has no reason to keep it beyond having some of their old players on their current roster

Wait. I thought Seattle has all rights to Supersonics colors/jerseys/name etc and OKC kept the records and such?

Either way someone must find a way to bring back the Seattle Supersonics in green and yellow.

If this doesn't go through, I'm gonna go choke somebody. This will be the best deal that the city will get, and it's really a great deal.

Also, bugs the crap out of me that the Zombie Sonics get to share our history. It was BS when that was first revealed, and it's still BS today. Their history started in 2008.

There's definitely a good number of fans that want the NHL (myself included), and it looks to be something that will be seriously looked at. It's just that Chris Hansen's primary objective is the NBA, and the arena can get started with just an NBA team.
