The LeBron James Thread

KG thinks the chance of him staying in CLE is

From that quote he gave today, I think he may be gone, but where im not sure he even knows yet

There's going to be alot of media talk about this until something happens and we dont need 30 threads on it so we might as well start one to keep all the talk and news together.

Re: The Official where is LeBron going thread

heh, I'll chime in first. I agree with KG. Not just because the logic is sound, but because Lebron looked like he checked out. I've never seen a player check out like that before, but that's what it looked like. From a basketball standpoint, CLE is stuck with Mo and Jamison. Defensively, they'd have to make a lot of moves to get to a championship level with those two in the lineup.

Lebron just looked like he was ready to leave. The whole package: Game 5, throwing the coach under the bus, not engaging his teammates, not fouling at the end of the game, the way the air totally left his body when KG got that dunk. He just looked OUT.

So where does he go?

I think he'd rather play with a big, so I don't think he goes to Miami. Neither he nor Wade wants to go up against Dwight with "servicable" big men. You need to fight fire with fire.

Chicago is possible. There are well documented pros and cons. From a roster standpoint, I don't think he wants to go to a place where he most likely won't be with another Team USA member. Also, Chicago doesn't have the shooters to suit his style of play. On the other hand, it's a great city, Derrick and Noah are there and he did change his number from 23 earlier this year. Also, not so sure about coaching and management, since they still have to figure all of that out.

New York is another possibility. Pros: the city, playing with another Team USA member, the coach, the GM, playing in D'Antoni's system will let Lebron break every record in the book. Cons:Even though the starting five might be better than people think, the bench will be very thin in New York.

Jersey is the other big one, IMO. Pros: it'll be in New York soon. He can write the history of an entire franchise and likely be the only name that matters for that team indefinitely. His buddy Jay-Z is there. They have what looks like will be a great big man, possibly the number 1 draft pick, Harris and a couple other pieces here and there.

Cons:......

.......

wait for it.....

.......

......

It's NEW JERSEYYYYY!!!!!

Re: The Official where is LeBron going thread

In all honesty though man, KG is telling Lebron to get out while he can

Cavs fans booed dude off the court in his final playoff game there

I think he wants to win and win there, but if that is really want he wants. he's got to go because CLE is not the place unfortunately

Every city in the NBA would have booed that team off the court too. They lost by 32. At home. In game 5.

Re: The Official where is LeBron going thread

What's crazy is that it doesn't seem that long ago where he made the finals with I don't know who on his squad.

Man, how quickly things can change.
