Master League Relegation/Promotion

Hello guys!

1 quick question before I start a new Master League. I will use Pelligrini's lates option file (version 7) when I can download March's DLC content from Konami when PSN is back. I would use Portsmouth of Npower league (I read that bloddy confused book ). Does the game take in effect Promotions/relegations at the end of the seasons? Does it uses the exact same system as in England? (first 2 of N POwer gets promoted, playoffs between 3rd and 6th place teams for 3rd spot, last 3 of EPL relagated). It is quite important that I know that before I start my Master League.

Yes it uses relegation.

Not exactly sure if the it's top 3 in NPower or the way you described it.

When you look at the tournament information (UEFA Super Cup, Premier, La Liga, Serie A FA Cup etc), in ML, it shows regulations for each league.

PS: I've been playing BAL, alot, lately and I'm surprised that it doesn't use the OF or relegation rules. Wonder why?

I actually have a question regarding Relegation/Promotion as well. I was playing a master league with pelegrini's option file on PS3 in La Liga, and at the end of the season, 3 teams from the NPower Championship got promoted into La Liga. Anyone know of a way to switch this off? Otherwise, it will screw up all the other leagues but the EPL.

Im pretty sure Pellegrini's file is for folks that intend to play EPL. Whatever league you choose, a 2nd division will be tacked onto the bottom.

What I suggest is using the league editor to add the teams you want to the 2nd div, or change from LaLiga.

I would often put the Portuguese teams, and maybe a Lique 1 side or two as well, into La Liga, and demote the weaker Spanish sides.

You could do this, and replace the NPower teams with other Euro clubs...

but short answer...no...I you can't remove the promotion/relegation feature.
