Re: I Am Considering Switching To PES

I don't believe this game would run on your Mac - I tried running an old FIFA 98 using Parallels and it wouldn't go. Perhaps someone more experienced with Mac gaming could help...I'm jealous of the fixes the PC users have in this game.

One cool thing about PES is it seems to be growing in popularity and hopefully that will mean more option files for us console users. I used Daymos' option last year and it was great. One negative - we get PES a week earlier than they do in Europe, so we'll have to wait for one.

Absolutley agree. Master League in the past has always been better than Career Mode in Fifa IMO. Also, if you want a real challenge start with the default players in Master League and build up from there

i've got a question for anyone who might want to answer... how do you get the ball in the air off corner kicks? i do once in a while but usually my guy kicks it hard along the ground and the ball never gets passed the first guy in the box. pretty much ever set piece i have is wasted without so much as an opportunity on goal

^On PS3, you hit 0 once for a normal corner, 0x2 for lower, and 0x3 for along the ground. Hold R2 for lofted corner.

I downloaded the Fifa 12 demo and I deleted it after playing a single match. The game has no soul...PES is the game!

Canceled the other game's pre-order after work, will buying PES shortly after release but post-NBA2k12..give the option files time to get going.

will miss the license but organic gameplay is irreplaceable
