If there's smoke...and it looks like there's quite a bit of it there's definite fire. The NFL loves Favre to death but there's a line that you don't cross and it's things like this that will get Goodell to lay down the law. Favre probably wouldn't be suspended but there'll be quite a bit of gnashing of teeth and Favre's already bruised image is going to get even more banged up.

The NFL doesn't take kindly to the image of the league or its players going down the toilet like this.

Gotta say though, that this doesn't surprise me. Favre probably did stuff like this in Green Bay for years but because he was a god there it didn't get out in public.

Favre and Mark Chmura were known to be quite the party animals back in their years in Green Bay. Of course, Mark liked em a little younger, but this story doesn't surprise me at all. As much as the media has portrayed Favre as a lovable childlike good ole boy, his manipulative ways over the past few years have helped to destroy that myth.

As much as the media has portrayed Favre as a lovable childlike good ole boy, his manipulative ways over the past few years have helped to destroy that myth.

IIRC Favre was at the party where Chmura got himself in trouble in the first place.

I hate Favre, sure, but this is more than I hoped would go wrong in his life.

Honestly, if true, I take no joy in seeing these allegations pile up. I find myself feeling disappointed in Favre for being an idiot.

Having now watched that video (Or, well half of it, the other half's loading. Shut up, I'm on dial-up, it takes awhile.), that's him. I'm 100% convinced.
