It's an obvious overpay based on performance to date but there's talent there that could thrive opposite of Amari.

Me personally, as a Broncos fan, find truth in the initial statement.

The argument can be made in two ways, he didn't have a consistent QB getting him the ball, failed to take the next step when given the opportunity.

Guy had it rough. Like I said, never really had a QB to get that ball in his hands, but when they did he seemed to drop it a lot. Sure, he had some great, highlight reel catches, but never really stood out. Was the again cause of the QB? Or was it that he checked himself out during games, sometimes showing little to no effort at times.

He mouthed off to Steve Smith, over some truthful words. Saying goes, the truth hurts sometimes. For me, just shows immaturity.

In the end, let the Browns pay him what they think he is worth. I'm glad Denver got the little return for him that they got, and can move on. Jerry never took over games, or carried the team. So much blame can be spread around.

Tre White signs with the Rams. I miss him already, but at least it's the Rams and not the Chiefs or something horrible.

Odunze didn't participate in UWs Pro Day today.

TSN reported Penix ran a 4.46 40, and had a 36.5" vertical. Scouts questioning his athleticism can put a sock in it.

Edit: Albert Breer and one of the Seahawks beat writers has him at 4.53

Re: 2024 Offseason Thread

Felt like a given. At the bare minimum it's a third and frees up some space

It's a 3rd three drafts later, which is roughly equivalent to a 2024 5th. Yeesh.

Conditional 3rd in 2026. It doesn't help cap space for this year. It's a situation where they could've held onto him and let him walk and could've gotten a Comp 4th pick in 2026 at worst. It's pretty much the Eagles "trying to do right by the player" and trading him to a team that might extend him. Jets can easily do the same and let him walk and get a 2026 comp pick. Eagles are betting on Jets falling off a cliff post Aaron Rodgers and Reddick meeting these conditions. I'm okay with. At worst, it's like moving up in the 2026 draft.

It's essentially Reddick for Huff and a 2026 3rd. Eagles had an emphasis on getting younger on defense. They're just banking on Huff being able to be a full time player and Nolan Smith being able to produce. I would not be surprised if the Eagles draft a DE in round 1

Re: 2024 Offseason Thread

Texans getting Stefon Diggs, a 2024 sixth-round pick and a 2025 fifth-round pick for a 2025 second-round pick.
