Re: Week 10 Discussion Thread

Hard to argue with the returns on the Wilson swap-in. He’s still blatantly ignoring the middle of the field, but making it work in other areas. Not sure if Fields gets Washington to jump off at the end there. That’s the wily veteran effect right there. Maybe I’m romanticizing it but it’s uncanny how it’s gone so far.

Like Kramer said, the schedule has been kind and like I noted, there’s still offensive issues with Wilson, but can’t argue with 3 wins in 3 tries — and scoring points while doing it.

They may not be a top level team as their record indicates, but they’ve got the W’s to say so and seem to be getting in to more of a consistent groove. Very much a Pittsburgh Steelers team of the last 10-15 years.

Different view(link goes to X/Twitter) from the Steelers game where they got Washington to jump. Love all the reactions from Najee to McCormick

Those are pretty good.

I rewound that moment over and over right when it happened just to watch different reactions, but specifically from the Commanders side. I seem to remember Luvu talking to the line right before they all set up, as in he was telling them exactly what I said yesterday: "DON'T ****ING JUMP!"

We can make every excuse that we want and I can only speak from my armchair, but the moment and your impulses cannot tell your body to do what your mind has already stated to avoid.

Re: Week 10 Discussion Thread

So I guess you can actually see the Chiefs progressively get closer to blocking Denver's kicks, until ultimately it happened on the final play of the game.
Wonder if Denver was just oblivious to this or just couldn't make adjustments / thought it wouldn't matter?

Pardon me for saying this as a heterosexual, mere mortal... but holy ****, Tyreek Hill's thighs are massive.

Re: Week 10 Discussion Thread

The Giants have officially become the Jets. They've been spinning their wheels since the last SB win, but losing to Carolina is as low as it gets (nearly as low as the Pisarcik Fumble). The blame squarely falls on John Mara.

Re: Week 10 Discussion Thread

Rodgers needs to just hang it up after this year.

Even with Davante there, it didn’t really change much at all and I hate seeing both of them go out like this.
