Clean hit?

Keith Rivers' jaw was broken on the play and he's likely out for the season. For the record, I'm on the fence with this.

Re: Clean hit?

I need reverse angle. Did he hit with the crown of his helmet? If so, then it's dirty. If not, it's just a great legal block.

Re: Clean hit?

It was a clean hit but Hines Ward is one of the few players I would love to see get his head knocked off in the same fashion. I cant stand watching Ward run his mouth constantly, baiting players into reacting so he can get cheap yardage for his team.

Re: Clean hit?

he lead with the crown of his helmet. It's borderline but I'd hesitate to say it was dirty. It wasn't super clean either. It's sort of in that grey area.

Re: Clean hit?

Looked completely clean to me.

He'll probably get fined for it, though.

Re: Clean hit?

I'm on the border on this.

However, whoever said they would like to see this happen to Hines Ward...yes, I agree with you. He takes cheap shots all the time at the defense.
