Here are the reps in each game. Im not Favre bashing yet, this I put on Childress. I just think when we have the back/backs we do have.

Game 1: 37 run plays(25 AD-160 yards) ; 21 pass
Game 2: 22 run plays(ONLY 15 BY AD FOR 92 YARDS) ; 27 Pass
Game 3: 26 run plays(19 AD-85 yards) ; 46 pass plays!
Game 4: 28 run plays(25 AD-55 yards) ; 31 pass plays (Understandable this game)
Game 5: 24 run plays(ONLY 14 BY AD FOR 63 YARDS) ; 24 Pass
Game 6: 30 run plays(22 AD-143 yards) ; 29 pass
Game 7: 21 run plays(18 AD-69 yards) ; 51 passes Really?....-_-

I said it a bunch of times in the Vikings/Steelers game thread. Childress is falling in love, imo.

Yeah but will Farve? This is a give and take situation to me. Farve is old and theres no tellin how his body will hold up threw out the season. I think Farve kinda let that steelers linebacker take it back for a TD in that steelers vs vikings game. He got hurt last year trying to chase down a linebacker trying to go all out to take him down and get the ball back.

Well I wouldn't say he let him but he certainly didn't put alot of effort into it. I say let peterson run more since he's younger but, hey there doing whatever works and throwing is working more than running.

I hope he throws the ball for more than 50 times on us. He doesn't have the Metrodome to help him out this time.

When I saw the box score of the Pittsburgh/Minnesota game, it was definitely eyebrow-raising to see Favre throw 51 times.

With Peterson and Taylor, I would probably lean more towards running the ball. But then again, Favre and Rice seem to be in a groove right now.

And if Peterson was touching the ball 35 times a game we would have a thread asking if he would burned out by January.

Coaches just can't win.

Monday morning coaching is just so awesome. We all know better than the guys getting paid without having to deal with any of the second guessing.

Favre has a 102.2 QB rating this year. Can you ever throw the ball too much when your QB is playing that well?

And by the way, I'd appreciate it if no one ever made another thread where I had to defend Childress. I feel dirty.
