I think that's big for the Jets. I don't think LT is quite 'done' yet.

I agree

He's more versatile than Thomas Jones- this is a great deal for the Jets. I love this move. Leon Washington is a good receiver but it doesn't look like he's coming back. LT is one of the best receiving tailbacks to play the game- the Jets WCO relies on a lot of swing passes to the RB so Tomlinson will fit in right away.

I don't think he's done just yet either. The San Diego O-line is a phenomenal pass-blocking line but leaves a lot to be desired in run-blocking. The Jets run blocking is grade as it made a guy who is an average RB (Thomas Jones) put up Pro Bowl numbers.

This signing is good now but has the potential to be great.

I hope he's not but, I think there is a good chance he could be. Watching him all year he doesn't have a lot anything left. If he stays healthy and has great blocking I think he could break or get close to another 1,000 yard season. I wish him all the best in bouncing back but, I'll believe it when I see it.

At least he's not a damn patriot!

Looks like Its official, he's a Jet. Just seen it on the NFL Network ticker.

Man, did the Jets not do enough to us Charger fans in January? This is just piling on. I hope LT slaps Shonn Greene upside the head for stealing his celebration in that game, lol.

This. I'm still sad LT left even though the writing was on the wall. Just sucks I have to watch him rock a new jersey and the fact he stuck around in the AFC and didn't sign with the Vikings in the NFC.

This might be unrealistic thinking, but I really hope he just tears it up. Hopefully that Jets o-line can revitalize him and he can get some of those records.

yeah...seems like a good look 4 the Jets. If Sanchez comes back improved, and they can get the run game goin with LT...we might possibly see the Jets in the playoffs again...

It will be so strange seeing LT in a Jets uniform. Kinda like seeing Montana in Chiefs uniform or Emmitt Smith in a Cardinals uniform...

Something about it just feels wrong.
