I was about to head out with the guys when suddenly...

lets go to the store.....

she complained as I watched the game while I drove around.

anyone else get gameblocked?

Start bothering her and asking to spend quality time with you when she is scrapbooking or talking on the phone with her friends or anything else that chicks do. Keep it up and she'll get the message.

Or, every time she tries to bother you while watching football, set your DVR to record the game(s) you want to watch and then try getting intimate with her.

Best case scenario = she won't be in the mood and will leave you alone to watch the game.

Worst case scenario = you get laid and get to watch the game later anyway on DVR.

I'll be here all week, folks!

Married 15 years now.

Everyone is different but laid it out in the first year...football is my mistress, I follow her on a few Sundays a year and I met her (football) long, long before my wife came on the scene.

In turn though Saturdays and the Irish are now negotiable.

Pick your battles I guess.

I have a very similar deal. Saturdays in the fall I will not go anywhere, do anything with anybody, entertain anybody...etc. Set that as a precedent from the beginning and I have only missed one Saturday in 4 years due to a mutual friends wedding. We got married on a Saturday in the fall and I agreed to the date because the Gators had a bye that week

My fiance is a sports fan for the most part. She was going crazy when the Raiders just won. Only problem is she is a Lakers fan and I hate the Lakers.

Lol got a good laugh out of that. Not married but, I know exactly what you're talking about. Luckily I don't have to deal with it on a consistent basis.
