Peyton Manning's Future

Simple question: Giving Peyton Manning's knowledge and obvious love of the game, do you think coaching is in his future?

Positional coach... Offensive coordinator... assistant head coach... or even as an NFL head coach?

Re: Peyton Manning's Future

I don't think so. He's certainly understands the game well enough, but I don't think he has the patience. He'd end up asking too much of his players (especially the QB), which would set them up for failure.

That being said, and this is going to sound crazy... I could see him being effective as a defensive coordinator. He's spent his whole life trying to pick them apart and knows the types of looks that will frustrate an opposing QB.
