Top rookies, FA's, and surprise players so far

Who are the top performing rookies, FA's, and surprise players so far this season?

For my team, the Giants, Victor Cruz has been a huge surprise, as has Jake Ballard at TE.

Jacquan Williams and Greg Jones at LB has started a few games but up and down.

How about other teams?
thanks

Andy Dalton.

I've been very impressed with him this year. He has done all the right things, has leadership, and looks like a veteran QB on the field at times.

I've also been impressed with the play of Cam Newton. I thought he was going to be a bust, but so far he has shown he can play QB in the NFL.

Cam Newton. I was a huge doubter, I'm not a fan of run first QB's, but that guy is an exception.

I'm interested in how the Vikings do with Ponder, I think he'll surprise people just like Dalton has done. My Lions will still crush them though.

There is some bias to it, but Stafford has surprised me. With all the games he missed, I thought he'd be slow to start of with. His connection with Megatron just reminds me so much of Manning and Harrison. Titus Young has been impressive so far.

Jimmy Graham and Darren Sproles. That is all.

But the play of the AJ Green-Andy Dalton combo has surprised me somewhat

Across the league I think Andy Dalton is the surprise player and the Bengals are the surprise team.

On the Steelers, we brought back most of our guys, but Isaac Redman has been a solid surprise, and the play of Max Starks on the line since bringing him back has been solid. Antonio Brown has come on a little stronger than I expected as well.

In Tampa, Preston Parker has been a nice surprise for us, and the entire front 7 has been a nice surprise as well, with a special shoutout to Michael Bennett, who's done an excellent job this year.

I knew coming in the Bengals had talent (especially on D) but the fact that they put it together surprises me. I was hoping with their easy schedule that they'd do well, but I'd figure they'd find a way to lose.

Cam Newton playing as well as he has this season. Especially with little offseason time to work with the team, he has been impressive. Kudos to Ron Rivera and the Panthers FO.

The Lions are what I thought they would be (6-2 was my prediction). But man I've really been impressed with Stephen Tulloch. If he continues like he's been playing, he should be a probowler.

I agree completely on Dalton...I keep hearing everyone say Newton is the run away for rookie of the year, but Dalton gets my vote. The way he has played has been impressive AND his team is winning.
