Eagles Fire DL Coach Jim Washburn

I don't see a "coaching carousel" thread or anything, and I feel like it's big enough to not go in the NFL OT thread. If not, apologies

Washburn was fired which means the wide-9 is gone and that Andy Reid is taking some coaches down with him

I read that he was calling Juan Castillo "Juanita" in front of players and openly ignoring him. You cant have that in your locker room especially between coaching staff.

Wide-9 is pretty much gone. Reid said they still might run it time-to-time, but most likely go back to tradition 4-3 DL sets. I dont know how Graham was play. He has done well in the Wide-9 as a edge rusher. They dont really have the beef upfront to dominant OLs.

It is pretty much a foregone conclusion that Reid and his boys are gone. They have the talent on the team, it just that it isnt showing up on the field. The have had a really good rookie class. I also expect Morniwheg to be gone to. The problem I see with the fumbles is that NONE of them carry the ball right. They all carry it like a loaf of bread. The main problems I see with Eagles is limiting TOs and Wrapping up on tackles.

Them having a top 5 pick, I see them either going for the best OL available, since top 8 will either be QBs or DL. I dont see them going for a QB, unless the new regime wants one and their DL is yound and has depth. Definitely think Vick will be gone. Not sure if Foles is a Franchise QB, but I do think he is a capable starter. The rest of the season is a audition for him for the new regime.

Mods might as well make this the Coaching Carousel thread since it's here.

But yeah, Chargers to fire HC Norv Turner and GM AJ Smith at the end of the season:
