Week One: Tampa Bay Bucs vs. NY Jets

For the Bucs, this game will hopefully show a revamped defense featuring Revis and Goldson. It will also kickoff Doug Martin's sophomore campaign.

For the Jets, this game will be the first of the "Geno Smith Era" as well as the first game for rookies Dee Milliner and Sheldon Richardson.
It will also be the beginning of the end for Rex Ryan.
Prediction: Bucs 24 Jets 13

Revis returns,

The start of the Sanchez era turned out well, so hopefully that means the same thing for Geno.

If we don't come out of this week with a win, any hopes of this year being a playoff year for Tampa will be gone lol.

There's just no way that a playoff team can lose to a team with so few weapons and a QB that's looked so horrible in pre-season and camp as Geno has.

Geno actually had a pretty good camp except for one or two days. He played well vs the lions but obviously was awful against the Giants. but yeah, the Bucs should still win lol

He hasn't looked good since the injury and isn't fully healthy, so I'd expect that version of him early on at least. Plus the help around him is going to make it pretty tough anyway.

73-6 Bucs. If they lose this and go 15-0 afterwards they still shouldn't be allowed in the playoffs.

The Jets right now are a complete mess of an organization. It'd be a complete disappointment if the Bucs can't come away with a comfortable win at the very least.

Re: Week One: Tampa Bay Bucs vs. NY Jets

Interested to see how Revis looks. The year he held out it took him awhile to get back to his form. I hope he has a great year, just would like to see him be a little rusty in week 1. Could be going up against Holmes who hasn't played all preseason either so no idea what to expect there.

If Geno can limit the turnovers its a winnable game. I don't see either offense having a big day. Obviously if he throws 3+ picks it will be ugly.
