I don't know if I'd call it a mess. Injuries decimated the team. The rookie CBs actually were playing well by the end of the year. Cam regressed pretty bad, but I think his shoulder was hurting him more than he let anyone know the last month+ of the season.

There could be a really quick turnaround next year and back in the playoffs, if Gettleman decides to help Cam out and actually bring in good offensive linemen. Having the 8th pick should help bring in a key player, too.
