And for the record, concerning the Grealish stuff. I’m sorry, he’s earned his diving reputation. He’s fouled alot. There is no denying that. Most world class players are fouled a lot. That doesn’t mean we can’t point out when a diver, whether it be Bruno, Grealish, or Mané, goes into traffic intentionally looking for contact. I do admit, what Grealish does helps his team immensely. He literally forces yellow cards that can lead to reds like we saw Sunday. I don’t enjoy the constant whining about it though. He knows exactly what he’s doing. It’s something that hinders this sport a lot. At times, a player like him almost seems more interested in the contact rather than avoiding it and carrying on.

I would still largely prefer if none of Arsenal/Spurs/United/Liverpool ever won a single trophy ever again.

Just clearing things up.
Oh I know. United aren’t garnering any real support from a non United supporter. But I at least appreciated the semi good vibes from the West London crowd.

Hey, at the very least, we both share the special one. To this day, I still say if he was backed a bit more, he likely does what Ten Hag is doing now.

I will say, the fact that it's a four-year investigation and that the clubs essentially exert a lot of control over the league does make this rather spicy compared to UEFA attempting to have a go at City's fraudulent financial practices.

The UEFA charges that fell are still the funniest imo. UEFA had enough to kill off City, then decided to even further, but didn't follow THEIR OWN rules. They literally lost the case because they couldn't be bothered to see if they were compliant in their investigation.

Yeah from what I read on twitter this morning from respected journalists is that it’s been in the works and City can’t appeal to the CAS (the board that got them off last time).

Like you, I’m skeptical that anything will happen to them but we all know they’ve been cooking the books for years. All that revenue from their 37 supporter hmmmmmmmm

Would the league go through a 4 year investigation and let them off with a fine?

However, apparently the guy leading this commission is an Arsenal season ticket holder, so people are going to jump all over that.

Will we see City in Birmingham or Stoke on Tuesday and Wednesday nights?

Part of me feels that Sir Alex called a few of his friends in the league office.
