I understand this may be "sim" sacrelig, but what are peoples feelings about playing this game with the controller.
I'd love a wheel but don't think I can afford it, and I don't really play in front of a table so that make the wheel a bit of a problem.

So is it still a great game without the wheel, or just don't bother.

I'll be using a controller, however I'm not a fan of the PS3 controller when it comes to racing games so I'll be using a wired Xbox 360 controller with the XCM Cross Battle adapter. Also when the HKS racing controller comes out I'll be getting that.

Game stop has the release date for this controller the 22nd, today but I don't think it is correct.

After seeing the price of a quality wheel, I'll be settling for the controller. I used it for GT3 back on the PS2 and wasn't bothered by it, so I'm sure I'll survive using the controller for GT5.

I'm really interested in this controller. I'd rather pay 45 than 150+.

Yes, not sure why they didn't make a wireless one. It has some sort of wheel where the d-pad would be and pedals where the square, triangle, circle and x would be. It looks sick IMO.
