Played a game with the latest set in combination with setting the CPU to a generic playbook. Ran Ask Madden exclusively on offense and defense. No audibles or hot routes

Does this work on Play Now with one controller? I'll switch the cpu playbook along with their jersey but once I'm in the game, im still getting run heavy offense even though I selected Pass Balanced....
