To answer the OP...my opinion would be a combination of a passion for the sport from the developers, a better work environment, better management, more creative freedom, and/or more stable platform....

I too have had a couple injuries to my RBS with these sliders, but I will say Adrian Peterson, Darrius Guice, and Bryce Love are all players who have histories of injuries. Guice hasn't played a down...
